Family
Preservation Community Services (FPCS) was founded in Ohio
in 2008 as a 501(C) 3 non-profit agency charged with providing
placement for children who have been removed from their
parent's custody due to abuse and/or neglect. Family Preservation
Community Services is licensed by the state of Ohio Department
of Job and Family Services to serve as a child placing agency
designed to meet the special mental health care needs of
children in foster placement.
The initial goal of FPCS Ohio is to stabilize the child's
life by utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment
that values the child's unique potential.
FPCS trains and certifies qualified adults for foster care under state regulations and manages the appropriate placement of children into these foster homes. Family Preservation Community Services provides safe and nurturing families with intensive case management services. This is achieved by focusing on the immediate and on-going physical psychological, educational and emotional needs of the child and family. We strive to provide the highest quality of services to children and families by offering crisis intervention, on call availably, individualized treatment plans and small caseloads.
