NORTH CAROLINA

Family Preservation Community Services of North Carolina provides therapeutic and family foster care for children. Therapeutic Foster Families in our program receive specialized training from our experienced staff that allows them to work with children exhibiting special needs. Therapeutic Foster Parents are provided overall training before a child is placed in their home, and will receive individual training as needed to appropriately address any specific behaviors they may encounter. Therapeutic Foster Parents also have 24 hour access to staff offering additional support and guidance.  

We are committed to working with all agencies involved in a child's treatment to ensure our children have forever homes. If a child's goal is to return home to live with their birth family, we will work closely with that family to ensure a smooth transition. We encourage a close relationship between a child's birth family and Therapeutic Foster Parents, as we have seen this is one key to a successful return home.
