Helping Illinois Kids Achieve Their "Forever Families" since 2008
Family Preservation Community Services (FPCS) of Illinois provides adoption support for children in order to help them achieve their “forever family.” The program, successfully operating since 1998 has served countless families and children throughout the state of Illinois. Keeping in line with the goal of “human services without walls,” FPCS offers counseling, education, training and home study assessment in order to recommend prospective adoptive parents that are ready to meet the difficult needs of children who may not have done well with traditional foster care.

FPCS provides a range of services to families through the Illinois Adoption Program such as: subsidies until the child's 18th birthday or high school graduation, counseling, medical card, therapeutic day care and legal fees for adoption. Additionally, FPCS implements the state of Illinois' Enhanced Adoption Program offering aid in the way of a monthly stipend, career training and general support to eligible young adults who have graduated high school and are pursuing college careers.

FPCS is led by numerous professionals with a wide range of backgrounds and experience. This diverse and highly committed staff will continue to serve children and families in their respective communities and respond to newly identified community needs.
