FPCS Kern Wrap Around has been successfully helping and nurturing families all across eastern Kern since 2006. As an agency we believe in helping families to link into natural supports within the community creating stronger families and less dependence on systems for help and support. Our goal is to encourage families to become self sustaining and functional families so that the child and family can remain together.
How can Wrap Around help my family?
Wrap Around is a voluntary program and works within the
child's community to help the child to do well in school,
at home and in the community. We work as a team with
the family, the community, and other service providers to
build on family strengths and to help decrease areas of
concern. Our staff works with the family to help the
family link back into the community and natural supports.
We meet with the family weekly and can provide intensive
services that meet the family's current needs. Wrap
Around is a long term, intensive program which utilizes
a strengths based, team approach to help support the entire
family.
